The Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 blender has incredible power, which is why it is a favourite for professionals. This commercial grade blender makes light work of tough ingredients and blends then to an even consistency. It has a 10 speed variable control knob so can be set to blend all manner of things such as buckwheat and asparagus, producing either a smooth puree or coarse texture. On its lowest setting it can even be used to chop vegetables.
A nice feature is that the spinning blades create so much friction that it can be used to make hot soup from raw ingredients. As mentioned above, the motor is extremely powerful and has 3 horse power and the internal fan ensures that the motor never over heats.
The Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 blender comes with a transparent two litre jug which is very robust. The wet blade is perfect for blending fresh fruit and leafy greens, so is ideal for creating smoothies. The lid includes a removable plug enabling you to pour your drink or soup from the blender even when it’s running.
The Vitamix Vita-Prep 3 blender is perfect for making powders too such as spice mixes. It will easily blend seeds, nuts, spices and citrus rind into an incredibly fine powder. You can even grind grains and make your own flour. This blender uses metal-to-metal drive coupling, which connects the motor to the jug.
This blender really does it all; from food preparation, hot soup, cocktails, crushed ice, smoothies, milkshake, pureed hard fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, grasses and soft fruits.
